Where we can help

The legal questions relocating clients actually run into — handled by advocates who do this daily.

Property transactions

Title checks, seller verification, contract review and full support at the notary — so you never sign for a property with a hidden claim on it.

Contracts

Drafting and reviewing rental, service, employment and partnership agreements in Albanian and in your language, with the risky clauses pointed out.

Notarial support

Powers of attorney, declarations and certified copies — prepared correctly and executed with you at the notary, or on your behalf if you are abroad.

Family law

Marriage and divorce recognition, child residence and custody matters, inheritance and wills with a cross-border element.

Employment disputes

Unpaid wages, unlawful dismissal, contract terms that do not match the law — negotiation first, litigation only if it is genuinely the better route.

Court representation

Full representation before Albanian courts, including administrative appeals against migration and tax decisions.

You know the scope and the fee before any work starts.

Describe the situation in the form. If documents matter, attach or mention them — we will ask for what is missing.

Consultation

A 30–45 minute call or office meeting where we tell you the legal position and the realistic options, including doing nothing.

Engagement letter

You get the scope of work, the fixed fee and the timeline in writing. Nothing proceeds until you agree to it.

We handle it

We do the work, keep you updated at every milestone, and hand over the complete file at the end — originals included.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which languages do you work in?

Our advocates work in Albanian and English, and we hold consultations in Russian and Italian. Documents you receive from us come in Albanian, which is the legally binding version, together with a translation in the language you chose so you always know what you are signing.

Can you handle my matter remotely?

Most of it, yes. Consultations happen by video call, documents are exchanged electronically, and a power of attorney lets us act at the notary, the migration office and the courts without you flying in. Some acts — a property sale signature, for example — still need either you or a valid power of attorney in place.

How does a power of attorney work if I am abroad?

You sign it before a notary in your own country, have it apostilled, and send it to us; we then arrange the certified Albanian translation. We draft the wording first so it covers exactly the acts needed and nothing more, which both protects you and avoids a second trip to a notary.

How long does a typical matter take?

A contract review is usually two to five days, a property purchase two to four weeks including title checks, and court matters run on the court calendar rather than ours. You get a realistic timeline in the engagement letter, and we tell you immediately if anything changes it.

How and when do I pay?

Fixed-fee matters are billed half at engagement and half on completion. Court representation is quoted per instance. We accept bank transfer and card, always issue an invoice, and never add charges that were not in the engagement letter.
